Cookie Policy

Last updated: November 2026

  1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files or identifiers that websites may store on a user’s device when they visit them. Among other purposes, they allow websites to remember certain preferences, facilitate navigation, ensure security, and collect information about how the website is used.

Other technologies may also perform similar functions without using conventional cookie files.

The use of these technologies must comply with applicable legislation, particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European legislation on privacy in electronic communications, and the relevant Italian legislation.

  1. Website Controller

The entity responsible for the website is:

  1. What Types of Cookies May We Use?

Cookies and similar technologies used on the website are classified according to their purpose and operational characteristics.

3.1. Technical or Necessary Cookies

These are cookies that are essential for enabling navigation, providing functionalities requested by the user, maintaining website security, or ensuring its proper functioning.

These technologies may be used without consent where the applicable legal requirements are met.

Their use must be limited to the technical purposes that justify their implementation.

3.2. Statistical or Measurement Cookies

These cookies allow information to be collected about how users interact with the website, which pages they visit, and how the website’s performance can be improved.

Websita Design has carried out technical checks relating to Google Analytics and Google Consent Mode through Google Site Kit and Cookiebot.

  1. Tools and Technology Providers

The website uses WordPress as its content management system and has been configured with tools relating to consent management and measurement.

The tools examined include the following:

Cookiebot

A tool designed to manage visitors’ consent regarding cookies and tracking technologies.

Google Site Kit

A WordPress plugin that allows certain Google services to be integrated and accessed.

Google Analytics

An audience measurement service whose use has been examined through network requests identified as collect.

The presence of these tools does not necessarily mean that all their functionalities are active or that all categories of cookies are being used.

  1. Consent Management

Websita Design uses Cookiebot to display cookie consent options.

The system must allow visitors to make an informed decision about the categories of technologies that require consent.

Where consent is legally required, non-essential cookies must remain disabled until the user grants consent.

Users must be able to reject non-essential cookies without encountering unjustified obstacles and to change their preferences at a later time.

Consent must be obtained through a valid affirmative action, in accordance with the applicable requirements.

  1. Google Consent Mode

Google Consent Mode is a mechanism that allows consent preference information to be communicated to Google services.

During the checks carried out on Websita Design, the following results were observed:

  • When statistical cookies were permitted, a measurement request identified as collect was observed being sent to Google Analytics.
  • When all cookies were rejected, no collect request was observed in the tests performed.
  • It was also verified that no gtm.js request appeared when searching for it under the conditions examined.

The configuration respects users’ preferences and the legal obligations applicable to each technology.

  1. How to Change or Withdraw Consent

Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time through the cookie settings mechanism available on the website.

For this purpose, Websita Design provides an accessible option that allows users to reopen Cookiebot’s preferences.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Where applicable, withdrawal of consent will prevent the relevant technologies from continuing to be used on the basis of the withdrawn consent.

  1. Cookie Duration

Cookies and similar technologies may have different retention periods depending on their purpose, configuration, and provider.

Some are temporary and are deleted when the browser is closed, while others remain stored for a specified period or until the user deletes them.

The duration of the cookies and similar technologies actually used on the website will depend on the characteristics of each technology.

Users may review the available consent options and change their preferences through the cookie settings mechanism available on the website.

  1. Third-Party Cookies

Some technologies may be set by external providers that supply services integrated into the website.

In such cases, data processing may be subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

Including links to external platforms does not, in itself, mean that those platforms install cookies on the Websita Design website. When visitors access Calendly or Remotify through these links, they begin using external services that are subject to their own policies and terms.

Cookies and similar technologies used directly on Websita Design are described in this Cookie Policy according to the tools and functionalities actually used on the website.

  • Calendly:

The Websita Design website may include links to external services, such as Calendly, which allow visitors to book a video call or meeting.

When visitors click on the booking link, they are redirected to the Calendly platform, where the provider’s terms of use, privacy policy, and cookie policy apply.

Calendly may use cookies and similar technologies on its own pages. The management of these technologies on the external platform is subject to the consent options and preferences made available to its visitors by Calendly.

Websita Design does not claim that Calendly installs cookies on its own website merely because it provides an external link to that service.

For more information about the processing of personal data and the use of cookies by Calendly, visitors may consult its Privacy Policy.

  • Remotify (Invoicing and Payment Management Platform):

Websita Design provides a link to Remotify on its “Payment” page to facilitate the invoicing and payment collection process for contracted services.

When visitors access the external platform, the terms and privacy and cookie policies applicable to that service apply.

Including this link does not mean that Remotify installs cookies directly on the Websita Design website.

For more information about the processing of personal data and the use of cookies by Remotify, visitors may consult its official documents:

  1. Personal Data Protection

Information obtained through cookies or other technologies may constitute personal data when it makes it possible to identify a natural person, directly or indirectly.

In such cases, its processing must comply with the applicable data protection legislation.

For more information about the controller, the purposes of processing, recipients, retention periods, and data subjects’ rights, users may consult the Websita Design Privacy Policy.

  1. Updates to This Policy

Websita Design may amend this Cookie Policy when the technologies used, the services engaged, or the applicable legislation change.

The current version will be available on the website and will indicate the date of its most recent update.

Where appropriate, the configuration of the consent management system will also be updated.
